That account may have more than one receivers associated with it. Unless that account is paid in full by the account holder (not a third party) all equipment associated with that account is blocked and and can't be activated on any other account. This receiever supports the parental lock mechanism to enable parents and guardians to restrict television viewing for the young. Selective programs and entire channels can be password protected. In addition, parents can restrict their kids to watch TV only for a specific length of time with the parental lock mechanism.
You can create a Password or a PIN to:
- Lock or Block Individual Channels
- Set Rating locks for Violance, Nudity, Sexual content, NC-17 and more

Recording to VCR
Even though this uinit is not a Recorder but you can set it to record shows on your VCR which you want to view later or save them forever. It is extremly simple to record on your VCR. Set the receiver to auto tune for that particular program and set your VCR to record at that particular time through your VCR program menu.
